Certifications

GOTS- The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world’s leading textile processing standard for organic fibers. This standard includes ecological and social criteria, backed by independent certifications of the entire textile supply chain. Having GOTS certification ensures the organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labeling to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer.

FDA – The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is a federal agency of the department of Health and Human Services in the United States of America. FDA approval requires manufacturers to conduct lab, animal, and human clinical testing and submit their data to the FDA for review. Approval from the FDA only comes after rigorous review determining that the benefits of a product outweigh the risks for the intended use. Without FDA approval, no product can be legally sold in the USA as it would not meet the quality requirements.

ISO9001- The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, international, and non-governmental standard-setting body composed of representatives from various national standards organizations around the world. ISO develops standards to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of products, services, and systems.

CE – CE marking is an administrative marking with which the manufacturer affirms its conformity with European health, safety, and environmental protection standards. The CE mark means that the manufacturer takes responsibility for the compliance of a product with all applicable European health, safety, performance, and environmental requirements. CE stands for “Conformité Européenne”, which is French for “European conformity.” Like FDA approval in the U.S, no products can be legally sold in the EU without the CE marking.
